ReplyDeleteI didn't know almost anything about the carbon cycle and I felt really stupid. I learned that the amount of carbon has increased by 30% in the past 150 years. I thought that was crazy. I also learned that the ocean surface takes in about 90 gigatons of carbon per year. What is gigatons? But I had no idea that the ocean even took in any carbon.
I learned that the surface of the ocean absorbs 90 giga tons of carbon and that the deep ocean gets there carbon from marine life and we produce 30% more carbon in the atmosphere do to the burning of fossil fuels
